Mental Health Initiative

1 in 5 people in the U.S. struggle with mental illness –that’s 43.8 million of us. And for people in creative professions, that number is even higher. Yet, 63% of us don’t get the support or help we need. Mostly because it’s a difficult subject to talk about. So, we decided to help de-stigmatize mental health at David&Goliath by initiating the addition of a Mental Health Day to all employee benefit packages, to be used at the employee’s discretion. Our goal is to not only effect our own agency, but to also encourage fellow agencies to join us in a nation-wide effort to begin to break down this fear around mental health.
Hate-Free Cake for Pride
A Supreme Court ruling involving same-sex marriage and a Colorado bakery turned cake into a loaded symbol of hate. So to show our pride and support for the LGBTQIA+ community, we made cake that wasn't Sugar-Free or Gluten-Free, but absolutely Hate-Free.
